Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (5 days per week)

On behalf of our client, we are recruiting a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a full-time position. This role involves transporting fresh produce from Preston to local delivery points. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone seeking consistent weekday hours with a well-established and reputable company.

Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle during scheduled shifts
Deliver fresh produce to local areas, ensuring timely and efficient service
Handle goods with care to maintain quality and freshness
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
Comply with all driving laws and regulations, including tachograph and driver hours
Maintain clear communication with the transport team and customers
Accurately complete all delivery paperwork

Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
CPC qualification and a valid digital tachograph card
Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience (perishable goods experience desirable)
Strong customer service skills and professional attitude
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Physically fit and willing to assist with manual unloading when required
Good understanding of road safety and driver hours regulations
